You may think you caught an orb on your camera, believed to be the first stage of a paranormal presentation or apparition. But before you get too excited, please read the following.
Many light anomalies (orbs) can easily be explained in normal terms. They are harder to dismiss when you have photos taken in the same place shortly before or after the suspected photo that DON'T have the same light anomaly. But many so called orbs can be easily explained as being:
Dust particles
Flying insects
Smoke from a cigarette
Someone's breath on a cold night
Raindrops
Drops of mist
Light reflections from the camera flash or other light sources
Greasy spots on the skin
Hair floating in front of the camera
A spiders' web
Or, a fault with your camera.
